Designed by fitness and health expert Jorge Cruise, this diet teaches how to eat small, controlled portions every 3 hours in order to reach your goal weight. The number of calories consumed per day will depend on how much weight you want to lose. One thing you won’t do with this diet is deprive yourself since you’ll be eating virtually all day long.
The 3 Hour Diet by Jorge Cruise suggests that you eat every three hours from the time you wake up pretty much until you go to sleep (for optimal performance you should have your last meal 3 hours prior to going to sleep).
What do the meals consist of? According to Jorge Cruise, you should make sure that each meal consists of 50% vegetables, 25% protein, and 25% carbs. With this dieting philosophy you can pretty much eat anything you want and not be restrictive in what you consume. » There is absolutely nothing you can’t eat. It’s advisable to stay away from high-fat junk foods but if you must you’re able to eat even that…as long as it’s in moderation and you eat every 3 hours.
Cons
» Must be able to control portions if you attempt to create the meals yourself. If you choose to go with the meal deliver programs, it is much easier to lose weight as your meals will already be provided on a daily basis.
Conclusion
We like the 3 Hour Diet because of their savory meals and believe the 3 hour concept is great. Eating every 3 hours leaves you satisfied and not craving for more food. Your meals are spaced out throughout the day and you generally eat less than if you starve yourself for 4-6 hours at a time. The home delivery program is pricier than other alternatives but you do get gourmet meals that appear to be more delicious than their competitors.

The 3 hour diet is very, very expensive. But you get what you pay for and I really enjoyed it. I tried Nutrisystem before and while it worked for me the food just wasnt’s as good as this weight loss plan. I seriously couldn’t take NUtrisystem food after 2-3 weeks. Yes, I did lose weight but at what cost.
So after getting off Nutrisystem i switched to the 3 hour diet and it’s so much better tasting. Again, more expensive but well worth the extra money in my opinoin.
Eating every 3 hours does wonders for your body and weight loss. I think often times people overeat because they starve themselves for long periods of time. With this diet, I literally ate every 3 hours and I was never hungry. It’s true what Roxy says. Expensive diet. But the food is great and the pounds came flying off for me.
All my friends and family say how I look great. For me, there’s no price tag on that. Plus I’m healthier and living a happier life. Yes, it’s a little sad that a slimmer body equals a happier life. But it really does make you feel more confident and happier.
