Christina Aguilera Sheds 40lbs

Featured in US Weekly: In just four months, Christina Aguilera shed almost all of the 40 pounds she gained while expecting her first child, Max. The 5-foot-2 singing sensation is already back to wearing her extra-small jeans and feels a great sense of accomplishment.
To trim back down to her tiny frame, she credits NYC nutritionist Keri Glassman (nutritiouslife.com) and a comprehensive workout plan five days a week. The breast-feeding mom estimates 1,770 calories in her diet six days a week (breast-feeding calls for an extra 500 calories a day) and splurges on her favorites one day a week. Her diet is rich in protein, veggies and whole grain. She watches her carb and starch intake and tries to avoid late-night snacking.
After six weeks of recovery from her c-section, she slowly started to put exercise back into her daily routine. Personal trainer, Tee Sorge, got Aguilera back into tip top shape with a 90 minute, five day a week workout routine. The regimen consists of 40 minute cardio (treadmill or elliptical), toning for 40 minutes (strength training with weights and different ab exercises) and 10 minutes of stretching.
