Carrie Underwood has reportedly lost 20 pounds and keeps a food diary to watch what she eats. This vegetarian country superstar is a big fan of the book “The Calorie King: Calorie, Fat & Carbohydrate Counter” by Allan Borushek, according to US Weekly. It provides a huge list of restaurants and what your body will be taking in if you choose to eat out.
Underwood tries to exercise as much as possible with cardio, weights and the elliptical machine, but just performing on stage every night is a workout in itself!
Editor’s Comments: Calorie counting is a good technique for those that have more of an obsessive compulsive personality and need to know exactly how much they’re eating. It can get tedious to most after awhile. In the beginning it might be useful and then once you get the hang of it, it should become second nature.
