Camila Alves Recovers Naturally From Pregnancy

On July 7, Camila Alves welcomed a baby boy, Levi, via C-section with Matthew McConaughey and has since been treating herself to some R&R. As part of her culture, this Brazilian model will give her body 40 days of rest, with no exercise and very light food, to help her body recover naturally. Alves claims breastfeeding to be the “best diet” and isn’t on any strict diet plan. Her laid back nature is allowing a steady active workout plan, but not on a daily routine. When she is exercising, you can probably see her doing yoga or swimming which was part of her workout regimen while pregnant.

Camilla Alves is losing the weight by breast-feeding and taking things slowly… something all moms can do postpardum! Maybe we’re not all as lucky as Alves with the weight just flying off naturally without much effort, but her plan of exercising a couple times a week is great way to ease yourself back into your pre-baby shape!
