A new discovery shows that tomatoes actually have another positive benefit to your health. Turns out that eating tomatoes can help prevent sunburns and premature wrinkles.
Researches did a study that showed those who ate a helping of tomatoes in their diet were less likely to burn in the sun. They were 33% more protected than those who did not eat any tomatoes.
Another side benefit is the prevention of premature wrinkles. Studies show that the lycopene (an antioxidant in tomatoes) help prevent the skin from wrinkling. The final good news is that you don’t need to go and eat alot of tomatoes but just a regular helping of tomatoes to your meals can help in more ways than you expect.
